They might be wrong, but are they wrong by such a huge margin that the Tories don't get a majority? Seems extremely unlikely.
-
• #2303
Wasn’t that linked to Scottish Independence and then grew to the idea of a vote that represents Scotland rather than London/Westminster. Didn’t SNP replace Labour around that time as the major party of Scotland?
-
• #2304
The fucking papers have alienated those voters
Possibly - but christ the party haven't exactly made it hard for them to do have they.

• #2305
It only has to be wrong enough once.

Scotland:
Ruth Davidson is now legally obligated to skinny dip in Loch Ness
How is Indy Ref gonna go ahead when Boris won't give permission? I can't imagine we're going to get a Catalonia situation
-
• #2307
I suspect Boris will be very keen for Scotland to leave the union.
-
• #2308
I imagine that Johnson will use Brexit and his majority as a lever to undo devolution and bring back powers from Scotland and Wales to Westminster. It might be interesting to watch how well that sits with the countries themselves.
-
• #2309
Not too sure why he would want that, at a stroke it gets rid of 55 plus opposition mp's
-
• #2310
With a majority of 55 seats out of 59.
Can indyref2 be refused?! Even a blunt headed fuckwit like that prick can’t get away with that.
-
• #2311
He's lost Northern Ireland, can he face to lose Scotland as well? Although I admit I'm uncertain he has a spine at all, given his hiding in a fridge.
-
• #2312
It’s not too late for Raab, IDS or Boris to lose their seat
-
• #2313
I don think it matters any more tbh.

• #2314
I’m only in it for the lolz at this stage
-
• #2315
If Boris loses they’ll either parachute him elsewhere or the uk gets someone as bad or worse. Pyrrhic victory.
-
• #2316
Of course he can refuse

He has not lost it, just sidelined the DUP.
But I doubt him and his Ilk will oppose a border poll once R of Ireland agrees to one.
They have the problem that the unionists live in denial, and they don't want a ref with no broad consent, no plan and no majority rules.
Cos as we see...that doesn't end so well. Here it can end really badly.

A lot of people recognised the issue with him. It’s not that they don’t agree with him but that he wasn’t right.
Some of it comes from naysayers like maybe myself but ultimately such a broad rejection by the electorate. Shows change is needed. -
• #2325
Wait for some results to come in before panicking.
Certainly seems that way. This is the brexit election though,so where does that Labour sit?
