  • Enjoying 'he promis nurse, he promis bridge, but most of all he hide in fridge'

  • Probably felt hungry from the smell of gammon.

  • What time would be best to get up and watch results after a kip?

Which Tories are most in danger of losing their seats? Looks like Raab bit are there any others to look out for?

  • I’ve just voted (Green) and I’m now preparing myself for the worst case scenario.

    Tory +20 majority
    Super hard fortified Brexit
Mamnick appointed special advisor for Trade
    Cordovan leather prices treble overnight

  • Raab, Gove, IDS, Patel and even Boris.

No idea of the relative danger they're in though.

  • IDS, Raab, Johnson, Patel then Gove is the understanding of the likelihood as far as I understand it.

  • I hate them all but Raab and Patel in particular would be very sweet.

Patel’s pastiche of Thatcherism turns my stomach.

  • A Chingford swing is the small solace I'm hoping for this time tomorrow.

Got emotional leaving the ballot box just now..I have a horrible feeling we're looking at another 4 years of cuts and food banks.

  • Raab seat is pretty safe no?

  • If we get a Tory majority can anyone see Johnson demanding the kind of conflict (with the impact on our economy) that he'd need in order to actually negotiate with the EU? Given that he hid in a fridge yesterday I think he'll roll over, and then be ousted by the swivel eyed brigade.

Therefore, if we get a Tory majority I think we're on for another GE in around May.

  • Polling has consistently shown it’s a possible LibDem gain, but would require Labour voters to vote tactically.

  • Well not that it means anything, but on Instagram #votetory only 1000 posts, #toryscum has 5k plus and #votelabour 101k plus. (Not all of them by me)

I also logged into my Facebook for the first time in 2 years last night and didn’t see a single Tory advert WTF is going on.

  • I'm only here for #dogsatpollingstations.

It's interesting seeing some mad long queues - I wonder if some people bin it seeing an hour to wait. My station is only for about 9 roads with not many houses so usually only see 1 other person in there.

  • It might mean something - instagram is probably used more by younger people, which tend to vote Labour more. Also the young Labour movement is better at the 'social media game' in general, in my overall perception. I don't think the actual numbers are representative though.

  • About 50 people queuing in Limehouse this morning. Although it's a proper 'pig in a red rosette' constituency.

Edit: v high Muslim population, so maybe not a pig.

  • Anyone out volunteering today? Particularly in Chingford? Wondering where bodies would be most helpful (they have four centres) but not sure where to ask.

  • I shall go and honour the social contract shortly.

  • No queues at 07.30 out in the sticks. Shame we're a Tory safe seat.

  • Voted to early on, only person in my Polling Station (Shrewsbury and Atcham) at 7:30am.

  • I also logged into my Facebook for the first time in 2 years last night and didn’t see a single Tory advert WTF is going on.

They're probably not spending money on targeting you. Facebook gives very granular control over who you target the ads at and there's no point in wasting ads on people you won't convince (and you can lie a bit and a lot of people who'd point out they were lies won't see them).

  • Yeah, there was a list of how many people had voted so far today in mine, was on about thirty by the looks of things at 9am. Not many!

  • Tactical vote here, LD as it’s a Tory vs LD game.

New Labour candidate locally seems pretty alright, a shame it’s a wasted vote to him though
