  • Nice one. I’ll be in touch

  • @Thrasher Hey, I have three (pretty complete) bikes if you want them;

    • old BSA type stepthrough, black, steel, rod brakes (terrible but new pads), with as new Schwalbe Delta cruisers
    • Ribble alu track, blue, 60cm, 105 front brake, Miche Primato hubs, risers - but have original drops
    • Ridgeback Hybrid, alu, grey, front derailleur missing, no saddle

Other assorted bits and pieces that you are welcome to take.

I'm in SE7 - let me know if you're interested and in the area.

    Cheers,
    Rainer

  • Thank you @clubman - lovely to meet you.

  • @Thrasher Hi, I've got a Cadex mountain bike frame (still with bottom bracket which definitely needs replacing but is a bit stuck - probably the steel screwed into aluminium problem) plus a box of assorted bits I'd be happy to donate as others above have. - But slightly puzzled as on The Bike Project site in the small print I see:

''Do you accept spare parts or scooters?
Sadly no! We do not accept spare parts because of the risk of issues further down the line.....................'

Hoping you can clarify. If you do take bits (and can use the frame), I can bring the frame and parts over to your Deptford site. Please let me know for sure if I should.

  • We (Sabi and I) enjoyed meeting you, and we think you're doing a great job.

  • Thank you very much.

Very much enjoyed visiting Sabi's website and particularly relevant here. Would recommend people have a look at this project:

  • I'll take parts as well - as long as they are working.

But prioritising full bikes still at the moment.

Thanks again for continued support its very much welcome.

  • Another way to help is get your bike serviced is you havent got any bikes to give.

    https://thebikeproject.co.uk/pages/bike-service

Good mechanics and pretty good prices. And of course it goes to a great cause.

  • Hi mate I’ve still got a old Raleigh step through waiting if your up this way
    cheers k

  • Cool I am PM'ing now.

  • Thank you @jonuxuk
