Raised plastic letters as well for extra cunt style points at the golf club.
That's an MOT failure now.

It's an illegal plate in general so it's a simple reason for the Police to pull you over and find anything else wrong.
But, yes, so called "3D plates" are very golf club.
(Especially for Mr BLZ 6634 on his Evoque.)

B19 TOM = big fat cunt called Tom.
G17 DHZ in raised letters = poverty-stricken cunt desperate to show off who probably ought to spend the £800 on a better car than on a meaningless povo-spec 6-digit “private” age-concealing plate. -

I googled these a while back thinking they must be illegal, but this specifically says they're allowed:

A friend has recently moved into a russian oligarchs house in London - don't think any money changed hands though - does that qualify for this thread ?

Looks like I'm wrong on that one, I admit to just repeating what one of the roads police Twitter accounts said.
-
• #4117
Same here, but many of the 3D plates don't comply to all of the regs though.

Hahahaha! Will ride past and give them a wave later...
Edit - might be too late, it would seem the police have gone in. I'd have thought this would technically be a civil dispute? Or at least they could certainly treat it that way. Assume some of the neighbours don't like it and called their mates to get the coppers to sort it.

Squatting residential property was criminalised by the ConDems in 2012.

It can actually be a bit of a grey area if occupied for protest
Really dependent on the scale of things and how the courts/cops a feeling about it I think

I think it unlikely that this is the usual, proportional police response that Joe Public would have if their property was squatted.

looks wistfully off into the distance
Ahhh I remember the days when the police actually gave two shits about inforcing the law about driving / Vehicle standards
