The couplers are really cool i gotta say. They work very well, amazingly close fit between the two parts, almost seems like you could ride without the screws. Im very happy to have had the chance to build with them

I finished the breakaway frame. It was a fun project. Just figuring out how to get it back to the uk now.

Next up i have a pair of hardtails. A small one for my girlfriend and a quite large one for a friend. Both will be fairly standard xc builds. Looking to wrap them up before the new year. Just got in a bunch of 853 DZB so can get started soon. They came with a tick in the box!

I also made a locking folding knife. Was a fun project, sort of fiddly but cool to do! Still playing with the fit and finish a bit so not fully done yet.

The condition of the lathe is not terrible, it is missing all the components for the leadscrew so i cant cut threads. However overall fine, i pulled it apart completely and de rusted/cleaned. The spindle/bearings are in very good condition and the ways are fine. My main aim is to set it up for tube notching however i think i will be able to do some machining as well.
Im very pleased for the money. Its not got much info on it, however there is a name plate on the headstock with a company and address based in Nice. I cant find anything online about them so i dont think they made many machines.
The build quality is comparable to my old myford of a similar era, the castings are all fairly nice, and it has metric threads!
