Since i took these pics it has gotten some wide flared bars and blue tape
running 650*42 but on these super wide rims they come up just under 50

I also built a disc road bike. I was very happy with the frame but managed to fuck up the paint colour choice and it looks stupid

Looks really smart though, colour aside

However im really into the frame, took it to the lakes a few weeks back and really liked it, just needs some fiddling with the cable guide locations because i put them too high up, and will braze an integrated seatclamp in then get it resprayed

Thanks :) Ive got a few chanegs to make involving fire so will put it on the backburner for a bit then get it re powdered when i send another frame in

The gravel bikecolour looks a bit wierd in those pics, i think i got carried away in lightroom.

Had a closer look at the road bike. Really really nice. Digging it a lot

Thanks! yeah im happy with the frame, the only thing i sorta screwed up is the gear cable stops, theyre too far upp the tube so the cable is really obvious, im gonna move them below the tube nearer to the hydro hose so they are a bit more hidden. I also got a few braze on seatclamp lugs so ill test out one of them. then get it resprayed in hot pink hah. In the long run ill try and find a black fork as well i think. This one is cool, but i feel like itll go better on something else

Are the seat tube bottle bosses not a bit high?

Having seen the pink & purple bike IRL, I think Max is being a bit hard on himself about the colour, it looks great! And the workmanship in general is really impressive, I wish I had the time / money / skill / patience / space etc. to learn how to do this...

Really nice work Max. Liking that you've gone with a double on the gravel bike. Have you tried it with your road wheels to see how it compares to the road bike on the road?

What fork is it? Might be keen if you do end up changing it.

yeah they are a bit, doesn't really affect much but looks a bit odd. I might add another boss while i'm at it. drop it down a bit

Thanks! Your always welcome to pop over and do some welding or something if you fancy!

Thanks! Yeah I put the double on so i could use it as a road bike, i ran it with the wheels on the other road bike for a bit. It felt good, bit less stiff as the tubing is narrower but not bad. Position didnt feel very roady tho, coming from my other bikes.
I kinda wish id just run it with a single as i couldve pushed the tyre clearance a bit, but im not too fussed at the moment

Im working on a full on gravel bike for @Grifffff at the moment, some pics here. Should be a right laugh. Columbus mtb stays mean itll clear 700*45ish and 650*50something i think with a road double. Was a bit of a challenge to squeeze everything in, but ive done the hard bits now.
