  • Interested in the wheels depending on price.

  • @furious_tiles hey, i was thinking around 250 considering it goes for closer to 300 on the bay. Thanks!

  • In that case I’ll pass and wish I hadn’t sold a pair on here a while back for £160

  • Still not gone? or offers on the split.

  • @billygoat8 still do and no offers :( considering Facebook marketplace instead, might fetch more.

  • You need to write the price for each part f&f
    Groupset
    Wheels
    Finishing kit
    Etc

  • As recommended:

Frame and fork weighing in at around 1200g total acording to https://www.google.com/amp/s/road.cc/content/review/110020-cube-litening-super-hpc-road-bike%3famp
    : £500

    DA9000 groupset: £450 - Reserved by @Dexter

Ksyrium ES wheelset: £250 - SOLD

Finishing kit, (syntace stem and carbon, seatpost, 3T tornova team stealth bars and carbon saddle) : £120 - - update, now £90 since I'm keeping the cheap carbon saddle.

Now only considering the split and not selling the full bike since it seems I can get quite a bit more with the split.

    Thanks @billygoat8 for the advice.

  • Bump. Bike has gotten a bit more use but now has some bling carbon wheels on them. I can't afford both a commuter and this, and I certainly can't afford to commute around on something this bling.

Same prices as before, new wheels are very light Chinese rims custom built on bitex raf10 and rar9 hubs. Total weight comes in at around 1350g. Looking for a 25% discount on what i paid for them, so £300.

Other components prices still as above.

  • Any more info on the wheels? Would you consider splitting?

  • Would you split the cranks from the group?

  • What saddle is it and would you split from finishing kit?

  • 2nd dibs cranks if they are 24mm axle, also dibs brakes and cassette if the group is split

  • Any close ups of groupset parts?

  • Hey, updated the info above just now. Will be keeping the saddle as it fits me quite well, happy to link you to the aliexpress seller if I can find him and you're interested!

  • Afraid I'd rather not split the grouo since its likely some won't be accounted for. Still no takers on the frame either so the split is looking tenuous.

  • Ha! I literally just PM’d you... cool cool understood 👍🏻

  • Will post this evening with more pictures and details of the wheels too. @Dom.M - I'm assuming you meam splitting the bike build as a whole? If so that is the intention. If you mean splitting the wheel into components I'm afraid not!

Also, as mentioned in a reply above, still no takers on the frame. Would hate for it to be stuck in a corner unused so if everyone could get the word out I'd appreciate!

  • Groupset now reserved for pick up by @Dexter

  • Pics of the wheels below. My partner was wise enough to realise that I had paid VAT on this so selling £300 would be losing close to £200 for very little use. I don't know what forum rules are regarding this kind of price change but I would be much more comfortable selling for the original intended 25% discount since its been barely used, so £360 all in. Hope this isn't too much of an issue.

  • Where are the rims from?

  • @Dom.M Fitlite Carbon Store om Aliexpress. Was hesitant about going Chinese carbon but the seller was responsive and the lay-up seems clean. Completely understand the hesitation towards chinese rims though so check out the link yourself below. Just as a disclaimer, ad says 1289 grams but supposedly thats for the 38mm depth rims, this came in just below 1400g on my scales and have upgraded brake tracks that have been more powerful than my previous ksyrium ES. Exact version is 50mm-bitex-1420 (pillar 1420 spokes-excellent spokes), which have actually gone up in price and are at £450 before VAT.

  • Shimano cranks with an external BB are all 24mm.

  • These are still playing on my mind!

No qualms about Chinese carbon per se, but do have some reservations about unknown Chinese carbon sellers - how did you end up opting for this seller?

Also, when did you buy them? How much warranty is left?

  • Thought I'd answered so apologies if this is a repeat! Bought in December and not sure about warranty, check link above and it should say somewhere. I wouldn't trust them to honour it though as theres no regulatory incentive to do so with them being all the way across the world. But the wheels look well made and have good, easily serviceable parts, so I'd trust them to last on that alone.

I scouted the seller out by making sure they answered quickly, under the assumption that if they care about customer interaction enough to respond to loads of questions before me even buying, they'd make decent wheels and support me should any problems arise.

  • Bump, £340 on the wheels and £450 for the frame anyone? Can also do £750 for both together which is frankly a steal.
