Was there a Big XR party in Tufton St today - zero coverage in the media?

Ah, ok. I stand corrected. Maybe I expected it should be further up the agenda. (Which it should be)

The one common feature of all street protests, and I've been to more than most people, is that the participants believe the media ignore them. Sometimes that is true but I also think the effort people go to to organise and take part in demos, and their strength of feeling about whatever it is they are against, or for, tends to make them think the event itself is more newsworthy than it is. I would expect to see more about XR tomorrow when there is a large march taking place.

Given what’s going on in London today it’s weird that there is no mention at all on the BBC news pages.

The BBC has a story about the marathon that talks quite a bit about XR, but it leads on the marathon. I suspect they’re reserving judgment until after the marathon to decide on XR grows up/eco warriors disrupt people’s lives as the angle.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-65326111The Mail is also covering XR but they’re calling them ‘eco-zealots’ so I didn’t bother adding a link.
