From Kudos points to woah points.

Cool picture, is that a bell on the brake lever? Also looks like a suicide hub type of setup or single speed?
-
• #355
I think the bell may be at the end of the left drop. If you zoom in, the right break continues in front of the bell.

doh! thanks.

@lynx not sure if that's good or not, but thanks...
@Squaredisk Thanks! I have no idea what a suicide hub is, but the bike was always fixed single speed then and still was when I had it years later.
@itsbruce Dead right, but it is very confusing at first sight, I have seen other pictures so could work it out easily. Also have a pic of her sister with the same arrangement.
I have pinched my mums photo album so I could share other pics if there's any interest, but not sure this is the thread for it...

I rode the dazzlespokalypse yesterday and finally got around to putting some "mashton killed fixed gear" stickers on it.
Pull your old fixies out of the shed, pump those 23c's up to 110psi and go out skidding. You won't regret it!

Weekend job might be to dust off the steamroller.
I’ve been meaning to sell it for a couple of years but completely failed to list it. It’s been long enough I fully expect to forget to pedal at some point and get booted up the arse. -

Currently building a fixed Dawes Galaxy and looking forward to riding it.

I really should know better, but every time I ride this is a blast

Rode through Truman Brewery the other day and forgot there was a short-lived fixeh store that stocked copies of this mag for a time
Content was writeups of skid contests on top of a car park off Commercial St, bike polo, and people trying and failing to do fixed tricks in skate bowls, iirc

One of my favourites.
Can't wear it around the kids: too much fuck, too little sense. It blows their minds.

One of the greatest illustrations of all time.

it's amazing i could take such a good photo and yet be in it!
Dropped in to Herne Hill on Saturday afternoon for a beer (me) and ice cream (4yr old son) and there was some fixie crit going on called Fixed Beers. Didn't know a single person there.
Fixed is alive and well. It's just for young'uns.
