  • nice stuff!!! :) you dont use rattlecad why?
we used ceeway also, looots of stuff there

  • Well they've changed their downloads so the old version is no longer available and you need to buy the software now. I did use the free version which is fairly basic but I do have the design digitally. I just wanted it full size to help me visualise and it will help when assembly starts I think.
Who's we? You work at a bike/frame company?

  • "we" is just a group of friends... we made some frames for ourselves and all that, no real machining experience appart from a friend that made 2 frames for himself in germany somewhere and other classes in london i think (he studied engeneering machining something but is freelance photograph now)
this friend took lots of info from his classes int germany/london and made a jigg!! (actually 2) and we still try to improve it here and there, its a passtime kinda thing
we made some swing bikes and tallbikes, all for fun! thake a look at our site and tell me what you think if u feel like it!

the facebook page has more pictures and storys

  • Awesome, good stuff! You have access to considerably better equipment than me. Post more of it on here somewhere

  • i thought about documenting the construction of my frame ---> bike but never got around to do it... maybe i will just for the sake of it, maybe will get some tips for new projects (with a kid its gona be hard)
my bike is the black and red triple triangle frame

cant wait to see your progress!

  • Yes, as long as I get to keep the tubes once they're glued together.

  • Call it Caramel Digestives and you've got a deal

  • You drive a hard bargain

  • My teeth hurt just looking at that. Still would.

  • Great stuff, any chance you remember how expensive shipping from Ceeway to Switzerland was? (also compared to ordering from reset in Germany)

  • Preparing for frame no. 002 already 😂

  • Mmm £5 carbon forks

  • For prototyping only really. Nobody but me will ever ride them

  • I have some like that :)

  • My search skills are lacking. A link to 'reset', please?

  • i will take a look in our papers and let you know!
edit: cant remember correctly the shipping costs...but we ordered stuff for 4/5 frames and in the end ceeway was the best one.... :-/ i guess it depends all the time.... sorry

  • Reset Racing in Germany. @jBola no worries, thanks for the info. Looks like it's gonna take a while until I have the time to really try stuff out anyways.

  • Had some log in problems..
    But this is me..

    Carry on!

  • Excited to see how you get on with the frame now!

I've just ordered the brazing kit too, hopefully get gas and an order of rods and braze ons from Ceeway next week. Racks and small modifications first, before a frame. I'll stop cluttering up your thread now, and stick to mine! https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/320495/?offset=25#comment14602869

  • 2019, the year of the torch.

  • Seen that you're up and running on Insta.

    Any updates?

  • Flames have been lit, relationships tested, kitchen floors burnt.
Haven’t achieved much but I’ll post a picture or 3 tomorrow

  • Awesome! Look forward to seeing the pics. Made a front rack today and only managed to set fire to my shirt once.
