Very nice, but why did he put a brake bridge there in the first place?

Hey, bit late to the party but that Penny Vein finish (#352) is what I went for. I too wanted raw but was led to believe that the frame would rust through after a bit of drizzle.

Ahh thanks, my thinking (mainly based on wishbone stays) was that it doesn't matter that much. Anyhow, very nice bike!

I had a Raleigh that came unbrazed at the brake bridge, it took me forever to figure out what was wrong with it, but I could feel the back end “wandering” for lack of a better term.

Bike was really clean, had been built in 07 or 08 and barely ridden before being stuck in storage.

I wish I had tried a seatpost in it before powder coating it. The seat tube was distorted and when I got it straight and reamed it out there was some buckling/creasing in the powder. It’s not cracked, I epoxied in a shim and it seems to be holding.

Awesome bike action, I really like both the tarck and stupid bike, points for functional chain guard.

All the Zonal tubed bikes I can remember had shaped tubes. I had a Coppi back in the early lights, and I can picture a Zonal Cinelli.

I assume you'll have Lu Tze sweeping the path ahead of you.

Bold assumption that this bike will ever be ridden.

Well fuck...
The seat tube on the Stupid Bike™ cracked on the first ride.

Getting started. Damn, I haven’t spray painted a bike in almost two decades.

Relax, breathe, muscle memory will kick back in soon enough.
Ok, that’s a pretty awesome powder.
