Have just realised the A-C is 401mm. Current fork is 375mm. This will probably affect the BB height too much?
-
• #55
Yeah 25mm is too much

Any recommends for straight, 1 1/8 carbon forks with clearance for up to 45mm tyres? Tried a quick look at aliexpress/ ebay but it's overwhelming, too much choice and obvs i value my teeth so hoping for up to date links/ community recommends (or if anyone has anything that fits the bill that they wana sell?). cheers

I had a good look at the new Condor disc fork on the Fratello on my lunch break. Both the frame and forks look significantly better then the old model. Fork is all carbon, 378 atc and looks like it'll easily clear more than 32c. Gonna be available separately but £300+ notes though

Bit late but Genesis do a straight fully carbon fork with cage mounts. Although, annoyingly, they say it will only take a 40mm tyre.
Did you ever pick anything up because I'm looking for similar. Debating whether to risk the Hylix from Ebay/aliexpress.

Bit of a dredge. Looking for some forks that'll take 700x35 tyres plus guards. Thru axle preferred but not essential. On a tight budget so the cheaper the better! Anything to check out on ali express etc?

Anyone tried and survived to tell the stories? -

I'll soon have two pairs going, both qr though. One like the Brother carbon fork they did for the Kepler and some Bontrager ones. £40 for either. Can post some pics later if you need.

Ok it's not quite a CX specific request but 1 1/8 straight carbon disc forks with mudguard mounts. There is the Condor Pioggio Disc - any other options out there? Only need space for like 35mm guards as I'm happy with 25c. Condor fork is £170 which somehow seems on the lower end of OTP forks - Enve / Whisky / Columbus all seem to be about double for something similar (although maybe no mudguard mounts)

Bang on, good enough clearance for cross too. OOS/preorder only though at the moment.
