Haha. And we wouldn't want that!
I know I'm biased but I'm shocked that these haven't gone quick at these latest prices. I'm sure if it was late March not early Jan they'd be enjoying new handlers by now. Anyone with any interest in these PM me as depending where you are I might be able to negotiate a fraction more on the price(s).
Thanks.

Update, the Serotta is sold. Half happy as it's going to a good home and someone on here and half sad just coz it's so awesome and I'll miss it. But I've made many a happy memory aboard it and pleased someone else will get to enjoy it now.
The Cinelli is still up for grabs. New offer is that for Β£300 I'll hand deliver it in and around London/South East. PM me if interested to see what might work with timings/location etc. Thanks.

No, thanks. Just committed to something (the Battaglin), no need for this, beautiful as it is.
Shame, for you, for the Serotta. -

Very much looking forward to receiving the Serotta. I've wanted one for years and you can be assured it will be well looked after!

Dude... You sold a steel Serotta... good on ya as I dont think I would ever have managed especially at bargain basement prices.
I just got a Legend (Bertoletti) a while back from a very rude guy off of ebay. When I enquired about the deep scuffs inside the fork and that it weighed 700g (2200 instead of his stated 1500g in the ad) he became nasty and mean (I presume because I won for less than 30 percent of what he must have paid from the man himself in Italy.
Point being that I just assumed he was being a nasty idiot cos of the bargain I'd won and he was sad to see it go. So it nice to see when someone (with a waaaay better frame in waaaay better condition) conducts themselves in such a manner.
Sorry that you had to let it go btw and yes I was tempted but thankfully it sold as I just about became stable financially after buying the Legend (Fedaia) and some top end bits for her...

Thanks man, nice message π
Yes I'm sad to see it go. But I feel I've had great pleasure from it and enjoyed owning it, not just riding it. But once I'd decided I was having a clear out and therefore it was to be sold, I just hoped it would go to someone who will appreciate it and enjoy it like I did.
I've only conversed with the buyer via PM on here but he seems a really decent bloke, a genuine bike person and he's always wanted a Serotta. So I'm really pleased it's going to a good home and will be taken care of/loved.
I hope to have a similar feeling on the day of my daughter's wedding. π She's only 11 so hopefully that's a good few years off yet π
Enjoy your new purchase too. Sounds like a good un.

Weird that I hadn't seen it before. Replied now. Thanks.
Might not lose my soul, but Iβd definitely lose something else if I brought yet another bike into the house
