Perfect.

What, this is my road fixed...
Take a look at the opening post. This thread is specifically about drop bar fixed gear bikes with (a) brake(s) and hooded levers, sometimes mudguards, etc.

Example from the opening post:

Is says no such thing.. just road going fixeds. Whatever

Stronglite! I didn't know you were a fan of reblochon!
Also you are French, scoble wishes he was you.

True(ish), but it IS the spirit of this thread. That's all I'm saying.
You'll find this in post #6 and #7:

I had that chainset on my Pomp and it ended up in tears. Allow me to be concerned.
Also, you have an unrelated PM. -

Wait till you see the unpainted one;

• #390
Because of the cranks or the chainring?
-
• #391
Okey, just a simple missunderstaning from my side. Sorry

Okey, just a simple missunderstaning from my side.
It's all right mate. To be fair: you've got a cracking bike.

The cranks (and chainset bolts). First the DS bolt went, then my NDS pedal just disengaged from the arm somewhere on the CS7. I replaced the chainset with a £35 Alfine, happiness ensued.

Ha ! Well, I guess I’ll keep an eye on it. Ideally I’ll replace it with a road crankset at some point anyway because the surly hub has a chainline of 53mm.

Ha! Thanks dude, yeah the Capo rides beautifully but ATM looks to be the most likely to go of the three. What i'd like is something similar to the Paddy wagon a few pages back and the Surly works better for that.

• #397
But single ring?
-
• #398
I'd like to keep the cranks silver, the bike is going to be painted "black" (not exactly but still) so keeping silver components to contrast that.

From the Surly Steamroller thread:
Too good, wished i'd ordered that centre print as well!
