Yep.
Shifts easier down.
Up is a ease off and notch up with the lever.

Actually prefer the clincher so might bite the bullet and get a knock off 3 spok carbon clincher on the front...for le shit

This is more stuff for in current projects, it's not even a 'road fixed' with bullhorns and only one brake...
-
• #2456
Ah. Ok.
There's me thinking it was fixed on the road.
-
• #2457
Ah, very smart, thanks for the explanation. As much as I like the traditional road fixed recipe, I think yours fits in just fine. Hooray for diversity!

Yeah, but it's not a road bike within the meaning of Regulation 14.l.

This?
(c) Bicycles with a fixed wheel shall have a left hand threaded locking device securing the fixed sprocket. Similarly, tricycles with a fixed wheel shall have a suitable locking device or alternatively shall include an integral system as part of the design. Machines with fixed wheel require only a brake operating on the front wheel(s).
I have seen others using same setup.

This?
No, this:
(l) Road Bike Citeria: the road bike can possess drop or straight handlebars; no tri-bars, clip-on bars or Spinaci bars are allowed; no disc wheels; both front & rear wheels must have at least 12 spokes each; the maximum rim depth allowed is 90mm. -

Do you not feel self-conscious, forever typing like a teenager circa 2006?
-
• #2465
Wow. Forever young?
I thought it's inkeeping with the build.
I've always thought 55378008 was hilario btw.
Circa 1993?

Did a little moderate day in the autumn on this today. Overgeared out, undergeared back but I think it’s kinda neat.

What frame?

• #2471
Traitor Luggernaut. I’ve read that Traitor had bad QC and went bust but I’m well happy with this frame so far. Only things I’d change are bottle bosses on the seat tube and a fork with more tyre clearance (room for 35mm+ at the back/through the original lugged fork but this Kinesis number won’t do 28mm and mudguards despite the ambiguous claims on their website!).

Most favourite bike (currently the only one that works) - the frame is getting on to be 9 years old now. New forks as of late means I can fit 30's which is well nice (thanks @Freddie92 ), wheels from @Po have been a dream to ride since I got them last year and I've got ~20mm of spacers and a slightly shorter stem than usual which has made it a bit chiller. 'Done' for now - just want a silver chainring.

only the best 😘
I‘m confused. Did you fit a Sturmy Archer fixed gear hub into a disc wheel or what does the shifter do?
