Readers'. New cockpit probably needs a bit of dialing in but a marked improvement on the short stem + bullhorns that preceded it.

Like that @ElGonzo.
Readers and pretty much a full forum build again. goldtec hubs on stans grail rims, seatpost nicked off a topsone, forks nicked off a mason.
it takes 32mm conti gp tyres, but i should tubeless them up as they didn't feel right with tubes, so back to 25 for now.

Also great this

I wanted this for my Seta, need to find a 1 1/8 normal carbon length fork

Its not so easy to find something satifying. Positives on this one is that the lower bearing transition is perfect, and the black gloss similar. The geo was raised by some mms, which does not affect the general fit. The negatives are all contained in the word Mason..
have a buyer for a Seta if you cant find it :) -

Ritchey!

• #2288
If I can find a low a-t-c to make sure the geo doesn’t changed dramatically.
-
• #2289
Is your preferred a-c 365…?
Ritchey is 371mm

Perfect! Must have been looking at the wrong one.
I enjoyed my Columbus on mine but the caliper brake suck ass after having disc for years.

I think you woooshed past me this past week on this!

It must have been me, around holloway ?

Is a-c is that important ?
Unless you are bottomed out on spacers with an already negative stem, which could be the case in a custom build @Hulsroy ? You can adjust the geo with spacers and stem angle.
I see rake as a strong point as it can change handling, in the case of track frame which is very steep, re-seta, but stack can pretty much compensated in my mind. -

A-C can be critical as it changes the head angle which then changes trail. Some times it is fine and trail doesn't change for the worse. But a CX fork on a road frame does feel weird.
A-C also changes seat tube angle and that can fuck up your position on the bike and cause injury. -

This is for me, the bike have 74/74 which is fortunate as a slightly longer than usual A-T-C will be fine, but I already got used to the bigger rake fork of 45mm (from 35mm) with the 74 head angle.
Can re position saddle with a laser spirit level anyway.
The Seta BB is very high, can’t put my foot down when seated, any higher just gonna be weird.

Very nice. Might be my old wheelset from my Tempo. Forum built too

they were indeed, very happy with them. goldtec hubs seem to trigger much envy.
unrelated and not for duncs only but What is feedback on cane creek src ? enough cable pull for a trp spyre ?

You got a bargain, I was very tempted to buy them back at the price he was selling! but they'd just have sat waiting for a build
I used a Juin Tech caliper with the cane creek levers. Commuted for years and did a handful of rides around Kent hills without issue. Not sure how they compare to the Spyres though
If I remember right the levers have a little button you can push one way or the other to adjust how far out the lever goes. Presumably that'd tweak the pull a tiny amount? -
• #2299
The Cane Creek levers are my favorite. They pull enough cable for the TRP hy/rd which requires lots of cable pull by my experience. Should be golden with spyre.
