Anyone got the official t shirt? How’s it fit?
Someone has offered to get me one but I think I’d be a large and they are out -

It’s not quite as fizzy so there’s not so much icecream “scum” on the top of the pint. Works best with something like an imperial.

Yellow Belly Sundae Sundae

That'd work. Best one I had was with this:

Come on, I want ice cream themed stouts.
I've got a stack of impy stouts in my cellar (aka beer cupboard). Gave away one of my last batch Yellow Belly bottles the other day. They're one of my favourites. I've not actually tried the Sundae (BA) version.

Meanwhile, back in the real world, the 250s are making good progress. Currently at the mid point between Angers and Le Mans. Still riding. They won’t finish tomorrow but I think they could well do on Thursday.

Damn, I was in Coal Drop Yard on the weekend for a fucking wine tasting thing! I didn't know House of Cans existed.

Funnily enough the best one I had was with a De Molen Rasputin (it is possibly my favourite beer).
A few borefts beer festivals ago someone was selling ice cream made with various Dutch beers that were stupidly good - I never got their name though so don’t know who to look out for.

The omnipollo ice cream sprouts are very good as well - beer hawk had some last time I looked

Inov8 Terraultra 260 Trail Running Shoes - These are what I think I'll use for TCR, but not done a long ride or a hard session in them yet. I got some that had zero heel drop. They are really comfortable and can't feel the pedal.
Why did you end up pulling the trigger on these? They're not the only zero-drop shoes and they're more expensive than most other shoes out there.

I was looking at innov-8 as someone recommended them many pages above and these were the ones of theirs I found with zero drop.
I also wanted one with no or minimal instep for mid foot.
I wouldn't recommend these as such, they were ok but I'm sure loads of other trainers would be too. I'd ideally like something with a bit stiffer sole. These have a kind of split in the sole which was a problem until I put the specialized insoles in. Then they worked. Another point is that the tread pattern worked well with my pedals, just the right amount of grip.
They're really light and breathable, very comfortable. Perfect for walking up cp2, in fact!

The 250s have spent the night in Chateau Gontier. Trackleaders says that they have 284 km to go but it is almost certainly longer. Hopefully they will be able to finish tomorrow.
Not yet underway at 06:00 local time. They stopped riding at 22:00 last night.
-
• #2642
And they are underway for the day.
-
• #2643
They are still riding almost 12 hours later and have cut the distance remaining to a Trackleaders 138 km which is possibly around 100 miles in real money. They have another hour of daylight. They will finish tomorrow.
-
• #2644
Looks like they pulled into Loudeac half an hour ago, around 45 minutes after sunset and 14 or so hours after they started riding. 126 Trackleaders km to go. They will finish tomorrow and, if they set off early enough, it could be at a reasonable time.

Still sleeping ar 04:30 local time

• #2646
Unlike you at 3:30 local time - early start or late night? The dot watching gets intense at this time of year, needs long hours to fit it all in!

Insomnia eased by reading posts on here.

• #2648
They are underway for the last time. Set off at 08:00, half an hour earlier than yesterday.
Allez les 250s!

Allen!
(Autocorrected but I'm leaving it)
Allen!

Covered more than half the distance to the parcours.
