I’ve not heard anything on CP2 where did you see that?
Pacours don’t cause me issues as long as they start and finish in the same place... -
• #1553
I got a screenshot of something from Farcebook.

• #1555
Ta, shouldn’t be too problematic then
-

Teravail Ramparts have arrived.
460g per tyre in the 32c durable.
Think that’s a no from me. -
• #1557
What will you use instead?
-
• #1558
You didn't read the spec before you bought them? They're like Marathons.
I thought the "Light & Supple" 32s were too much at 390g
I might change my tune when I'm booting a tyre by the side of the road...

CP2 parcours has been shortened.

GP4000 28s come up 32 on my rims.
Yourself? -

Ha

Wish all of you racing all the best. Have fun and enjoy yourselves, thats all that matters.
-
• #1564
Wait, what, winning is all that matters.
I'm winning at gooch shredding and beer selection. The 'race' bit is an aside :)

GP 4 seasons in 32
-
• #1566
The sidewalls are a bit thicker but they've got less tread on them that GP4000s.
-
• #1567
I was worried about the sidewalls on the 4000s
-
• #1568
Same. Which is why I'm not using them.
The 4Seasons aren't much better. 0.2mm thinner tread than 4000S and 0.15mm thicker sidewall.
-
• #1569
Oh dear! I will have to just deal with them now. What are you running?
-
• #1570
Probably Michi Pro Endurance but I've not actually decided yet.
-
• #1571
They might be the Krylion 2 endurance ones now . https://www.bicyclerollingresistance.com/road-bike-reviews/michelin-krylion-2-2017
Only found out because planet x have them at £18 a pop.
-
• #1572
What might be?
Pro 4 Endurance are a different tyre.
-
• #1573
I'm only repeating what I've seen elsewhere, but apparently the Krylion 2 endurance are the same tyre as the Pro4 endurance. And I couldn't tell difference when I had them in hand. Not that it matters anyway, as the Krylion are only in a 25.
-
• #1574
They're thicker and slower according to your link. Similar tech maybe but Pro 4 are still available.

Last year they asked me if I saw someone at the top as their tracker had been turned off. And a couple of years ago I think they got asked an 'audax' type question, ie, where does the second sign at the end of the road point to.
Mike suggested we took a selfie at the Col de Ceyssat (by PdD) but nobody ever looked at. Good job as I looked a wreck in mine.
