  • As I asked in the news thread, is this actually legal?

Sadly it is as schools currently don't have any legal obligation to provide cycle parking and so under some guises as registering for parking within the school site they can make all sorts of obscure rules up. I think having press out to say they are targeting cycling pupils disproportionately might produce more options to challenge the policy but it could take longer than the parent doing that's kid is at school to resolve or just give them an option to ban parking bikes following "a spate of non-compliance with cycle parking policy" or even them trumping it up saying the parent was abusive to staff.

  • @graunch happy days.... less cars everywhere, conkers, fireworks :) i was given a 2" reflective disc to pin on me for my paper round in case my D-cell everyready bike lights failed or the back one took a knock and went through the spokes, or the front fell off. Health and safety :)

  • The number thing has been done before I think? Tattoos...on the forearms?

That worked out OK for everyone?

    Fucking idiots.

Twice recently I've been told by cunts who have almost run me over that I'm 'not wearing any hi-vis!'

Similar arguments will ensue, I am sure......

  • Godwin in 53 posts, could be better.

  • As I sometimes say, it's a really bad idea to implicitly trivialise the most horrible mass murder in human memory by drawing comparisons with such minor issues.
