Lets buy a slate and split it. I'll take the frameset and you take the cranks, sell the rest

I've always been partial to DA 7700s in terms of mainstream cranks, but for something more obscure I like these:
Not into weight weeny-ism, but at 432 grams, I think these have a good shout at being the lightest square taper cranks ever mass produced - anyone know if that's true?! -

+1 for a great looking crank,
+1 for starting an actual discussion. -

^^ Not sure if they qualify as mass-produced
-

ok maybe, but they weren't one-offs built with space materials... they were commercially available as far as I am aware (though I don't have any inside info about their history).

I am contrasting it to vapourware like this from Red Bull's world's lightest bike... technically available, but just a prototype or always "out of stock" and exorbitantly expensive.

Seems that the Coda Tarentula hadn't been mentioned
Black ring available too, looks so clean with 1x seatup

^^ yeah Claviculas aren't vapourware at all, loads (relatively speaking :D) of people have them.
The Mythic cranks of the FairWheelBikes world record machine though, such want, but they aren't in production and probably never will be ): -

Sold mine a few months ago, apparently not as durable/reliable.
Rare just because it was a pre-mass production not made by Campagnolo (some say Zipp) and only available for less then a year. -

But it's so pretty. And paired with Record Carbon 10 speed shifters looks great.

Think we can just talk about the whole groupset to be honest!

Rarely seen, looks halfway between carbon Clavicula and aluminum Thun.

Any love for Praxis cranks? I always thought they were nicely understated for a modern design.
