Thank you so much for telling us of your recovery so far. All the riders here are concerned about people hurt while cycling and like to offer what support we can to them and their families. We also like to consider how the number of crashes can be reduced.
It would be good if you message of thanks was carried in newspapers. The press reporters will want to write up more of your story, about the crash and your recovery so far. That might be difficult at this stage, I'll send you a private message with some reporter contact details. -

Thanks for sharing your progress. As others have said it's a series of events we know we all could become a part of while riding without any warning. Alongside the physical it must also be mental gymnastics navigating the sudden change.

You can ride a bike with one leg, and there are also adapted bikes that make it a little easier.
Your strength coming here to share that when you're finding it hard is humbling in itself. Thank you. Stay strong and heal fast.
