It was dark! Shall post one later in the week.

The orange tarp is much thinner than the white stuff from the truck.
Made this for someone, have enough orange for maybe one big bag or three musettes, but they feel much lighter and more flappy.

Will take an under-saddle tool roll in black with some bright colour inside if you can? Like this one on your gram:

Sorry, I don’t have any black material at the moment. Not sure when I’ll have some to recycle. That’s cordura in the photo, I think I have some grey left, and red too.
-
• #31
Let's do grey. I'll pm.

Also potentially interested in a tool wrap - what are my colour options? (Can’t decide if a tool wrap or jersey pouch is more useful to me)
-
• #33
So far the tool roll is working better with either the grey or red cordura, or the small quantity I have left of the translucent blue paddling pool. I think I’m all out of the marble paddling pool, and the majority of tarp is too dense to sit well.
For the jersey pouch the translucent blue paddling pool, orange tarp is also a possibility, stronger material sits better but the white tarp is too strong. The cordura has been a little problematic because of kinks in material but I can work around that, it may have just been me on the day.
PM me with preferences, I’m back on Tuesday and can check over materials available.

Okay everyone!
Thanks so much so far, I really appreciate the support, and I hope all the stuff has been at least as good as expected.
Tomorrow I'm in London for a few hours, and then on Friday AM we leave for Italy. I'll be away for 7 days and then it's a further 7 days until the shed is up in the garden. Depending on electrician/storage/setup/etc, that means I'll be indisposed until the middle of September at the earliest.
I hope to keep enough space to move around the tailoring machine so I can still make some stuff as soon as I return on the 7th, but there is a risk I cannot make anything for a few weeks.
Please continue to comment/pm me, I'll get back to you when I can, but please expect a delay now!
Thanks!

These look epic, I’ll be in touch once I have a bike to use one on!

Hi there. I would be interested in an orange tarp musette, could you let me know the price, posted, cheers

Hey, pm me!
Please bear in mind nothing will be made or sent until after I return in 10 days.

Can confirm the tool roll is a great thing. Enough space for tube, levers, multitool, other bits and space left over. Closes nice and secure and the strap/clip keeps everything tight to the bike. Pictures coming eventually. Almost don't want to use use it and get it inevitably dirty. Thanks again @pdlouche

Back from the road trip! What a long week that was...
Unfortunately it was a week of toll roads and almost no actual sight-seeing. Sitting in a van for up to 12 hours a day is no fun. So as of today I have all my workshop material and machinery in one place, but that happens to be the wrong place... I can't move!
Thanks for your patience everyone that has PM'd me. If I can clear a space big enough to actually move around then I can try crack on with a couple small bits for people, otherwise the delay will continue, so lead time remains middle/end of September.
On the plus side I now have a finite quantity of tarp in blue, transparent, and an offcut of printed-grey. Also a few bits of leather, some bright/patterned synthetic leather, denim, and some upholstery samples.
Once I can stock-check and organise I will provide an updated list.
Prices are £POA mostly because it depends on material. I will try to formalise it best I can as soon as possible, but mostly this stuff is bespoke, where you guys are saying "yea, like that but with this" so there is room for movement in both directions.
Phew.

Welcome back :)
One question - is there a collection of pics of stuff you've done before somewhere? I read something about instagram before, but I'm not on there unfortunately... maybe just a Google drive / Onedrive folder with a collection of pics with a description in the name? That would be a great help in determining what is possible!

I'm pretty sure you don't need an account to view the instagram page, try the link here but otherwise the workshop in progress thread has loads of photos from the beginning.
Lots of stuff has been made and gone without really formal images, mostly just in-progress before sending out to people. I'll soon try to make some actual stock photos as I go, but between those two links you should get a good idea what I've been making :)

I work fairly near you ( Cirencester ) and we have a lot of material that's usually thrown out that may be of use. Welcome to come and visit -PM if any interest.

Hey do you make any handlebar bags or bottle holder for handle bars
-
• #48
@hanford pm'd!
@user67594 nothing like that at the moment, but bar bags will be comin soon. Once I have the workshop kitted I'll be experimenting more with frame/saddle/bar bags. However I suppose by bottle holder I wouldn't be making anything suitable - all the materials and tools I have are for soft textile, nothing for plastic or metal to mount solid.

think by bottle holder they mean like a feed bag/ stem cell

Fair enough, in which case the standard answer is: 'soon' ;)
Pics or it never happened
