+1 for a lush luffguss bidon.

Thanks, I'll look into that

Actually just bought two of these after my fancy Rapha bottle decided to eject itself into the river Lea.
Really cannot fault these, especially for the price! Super light, pleasing squishyness, easy to drink from, cheap enough that you wont get upset about losing them. -

If you do a lap or two of the Walthamstow track, you will find a navy blue Rapha bottle down the back straight.
I saw it there last Monday whilst doing some old man speed reps

greyhound track?

Ha! That's going back a bit. Not too far away though, it's round the back of the Feel Good Centre.
If it's still there next week, I'll grab it and stick on a for sale thread

Hahaha good to know, thanks

The other good thing about Elite Fly bottles is that they are officially the only bidons that look half-decent in a 750ml. The Tacx Shiva in 750 is hideous.

Another shameless plug for my partner’s new design that’s just been released by Pop Cycle Co.
Hopefully you lot will see the irony rather than taking it straight to Golf Club....!

podium cap recall due to potential choking hazard - thought it was worth a share.

I think this has been flagged up already, but the new elite fly bottles are amazing
Not particularly stylish, but so, so nice to use. Really soft light plastic and a great cap. Definately never going back to anything else

And they're super light if that's your thing. Easy way to lose 100 grams over two large bottles.
They do get scuffed up quickly though due the squishyness.

Don't let it jump out your bottle cage though. I burst mine when I hit a pot hole in the dark and it flew out. Now got a John Milner* yellow one!
*Two American Graffiti references in one day. Here's the other one.

I only have room for 1 bottle cage so I was thinking of using a 1 litre bidon to fit a standard cage. I came across the Soma Further 1l, Science in Sport 980ml, Zefal Magnum and Magnum Pro 975ml, Elite Jet (biodegradable) and Elite Fly 950ml. Any preferences or additional recommendations?
Also, the Soma Further comes in push valve or auto seal options which is better?

RIP Fly 550 #2
I really like these bottles but I’m not having much luck with them! Fly by name, fly [down the road] by nature.

Lol, little bit of life-prolonging surgery. Shaved the rough bits off, picked out the shattered bits and drilled a hole at the end of the crack.

Has anyone else had problems with the caps of the new Elite Fly bottles?
I really like the bottle but the cap on my latest two are both leaking, the older ones I have worked fine.
That's the one. Thanks 👍
