Yes. Lake are great, especially if you have wide feet.
Custom foodbeds will make as big a difference as the shoes though.

That's me, ta :-)
I've ordered some of these to try out.

Also find the shoes first and look to get custom shoe beds second.

And if all else fails, go full hippy.

Out of interest, had you used Shimano shoes before? I've used there 'wide' fit in a 52, which is too long, but just about wide enough. I'm hoping the Lake size 50 wide will do the trick, and their fitting chart looks promising.

I think I had Shimano shoes about 10 years ago? I had to go extra long to get the width and even then they were meh. I then had some wide sidis for years and I didn't realise how much they were pinching my toes until I put on the Lakes.
Wide Lakes are made by angels who are above all reproach and free for any sin (in my theological opinion). Anyone who disagrees is a heretic and needs burning at a stake. But outside of the drought season, obvs.

Report back, considering new shoes currently and wide would be good for me as well.

I'm fine until the weather warms up. Once it's hot, the metatarsal area of my right foot makes me want to cry.

I thought you were a runner these days? New Balance are good for wide running shoes ;-)

So do I need to get a team sorted?
Yeah was thinking that. Anyone up for a LFGSS team?
