I dislocated my shoulder yesterday, skiing. Cable harness under helicopter, opiates, burly men popping it back in, the whole nine yards.
Think it's a no from me...

You’re getting too old for skiing, Matt.
-
• #985
Hope you were doing something sick, rad, or both.

I was very nearly sick when they gave me the Fentanyl. Does that count?
-
• #987
Close enough
-
• #988
Oooopsifucks. How did that happen?
-
• #989
The usual: slowing to a stop, over balanced and did a prone cartwheel.
It was only my second run so the spidey ski senses weren't fully tuned yet.

Next question - Me Julie bought a bike home last night that has 15mm boost forks.
I only have one 15mm boost adapter - I have a standard 15mm adapter however, what spacers (that I might have in my tools/spares box) would I need to make this work with the boost forks?
-
• #997
for the bike rack? Probably 10mm. Boost is 15x110, standard is 15x100

If this is what I think it is I'm looking forward to seeing this.

What common household items are also suitable for use as 5mm spacers so we can get mystery bike on the rack?

If you need a start for an MTB route in the Surrey hills, I found this route card when I was clearing some paperwork.
You used to be able to pick them up from head for the hills shop in Dorking.
I haven’t ridden MTBs round here for sometime but I’ve had thoughts about getting out again recently

Grind do great brunch type things, blueberry pancakes and bacon, eggs benedict etc etc. Coffee is good too.
