Seems rather generous, given the off the shelf price.

Also - I think you need to be a bit careful with chainsets on this bike - it has the 6mm drive side offset meaning the chainrings need a specific dish and I think the axle is slightly longer.

TBH the cranks which are on it are fine, the only thing I’d likely upgrade is the wheelset if a decent set of ENVE’s came up cheap (which is a point actually- which rims in the range would suit?), although that said I’d happily move to 12 speed Di2 if such a thing existed.

Now that XTR has gone 12spd, Di2 won't be too far off.

I'd probably plump for M630 for that sweet sweet 30mm internal width. M525 if you're chasing grams and don't mind 25mm internal.

Something like that. You'd need to change the freehub for 12 speed di2 though.

With the current exchange rate those wheels would be around £5,000, I may need to think about things.

Build them onto these though.

I have the flyweight version in 650b flavour .. they are great, unbelievably light. I have done all 8 of 200k audaxes plus commuting/other riding. Zero issues. Front is build on a SON dynamo and rear on Bitex, I think the wheelset came at 1200g. Without a dynamo sub-1kg is easily achievable.

I've got actual cycling gear in my bag, was planning on gently circling Regents after work.

I've got these on the Talbot Amey is moaning about, they're ok but I'm not entirely convinced that they're worth the money.

Yes, I wouldn't bother.

LB do 240s on their pre-built wheels, so I'd go with those.

They do match my brake hoses and water bottles though, so there's that.
