Bear in mind that this is the current lever:

I didn't know about the return adjustment valve, maybe mine just needs a top up?

That is rather weird looking. I've only seen this RaceFace one before

It's the stock Tranz-X lever with a RF logo added...

I've well and truly woken the Kraken tonight, thought I'd swap the droppers over and now I've got the cranks off and am looking at removing the BB - this stage has currently stymied me however.
Internal routing - what a godsend.
So! How do I get a Truvativ BB30A bottom bracket out?

Yeah you have to drive out the bearings. Be careful not to score the bb shell while knocking out the bearings!
Edit - I see you're infact well on your way!

Ahem
Wish I'd known about this before I splashed out on a park bearing press!
You own one? does it work well? -
• #2088
It's not great for pressing cups in to a frame because it only has one set of adapters so it doesn't ensure complete alignment. Get another adapter plate and it would be good for that though.
I bought if for removing cups and bearings however, and at that it seems really impressive. That said bearing pullers aren't exactly revolutionary tech.

Yeah seems not bad for the money, gonna order one thanks

Here's a video of the boring things you can do with it

Removing a BB to install a seatpost? What madness is this?!

These are the tools I used to change a seat post

Top marks for needing 2 sets of allen keys

Small set for low torque, large set for high torque - what kind of monster do you think I am to use a long allen key for a short allen key task?

The dropper and lever is now available to collect.

Are you sure? Do you want to check if it’s easily serviced/topped up first before giving it away?
-
• #2097
According to the review I found of it this model of post is fully serviceable, I suspect it just needs pumping up a little (I checked when I took the saddle off it and the schraeder valve is present and correct under a rubber bung, but I didn't up the pressure to check whether that made it return I'm afraid). And yes, happy for you to come and get it.

BB seemed to survive my delicate and considered walloping with a hammer, and subsequent refitting. First time I’ve ridden into the centre of town in 2019, was actually good fun.

Just occurred to me that I could buy the entry level Megatower and a Tallboy CC frame for the cost of the Hightower I've decided not to buy.
Question is whether I'd use the Megatower enough to justify it - is there anywhere near London that's anywhere near big enough, terrain wise?

Aston Hill or Chicksands maybe
I'd rather have my own bike for occasional trips away than depend on a hire bike, with ( potentially ) poorly set up suspension
As long as it works, who cares?
