I'm not carrying an open bucket down four flights of stairs when I could carry the mobi and all its tools in one hand and not have to worry about spilling water.
Power and quality of cleaning tools here is not the problem - the problem is faff.
Power wise, yes, this thing might be better than a mobi, but for my requirements, it's no better, probably a bit worse.

Bucket with a lid + improved upper body strength = profit?

I know there's an element of piss taking here, but I already have a bucket with a lid, it's called a mobi, and conveniently it has a pump, hose and cleaning tools built in to it, which ticks my main box of convenience, and the secondary box of not having to spend any more money :)
Mobi is the least shit option for what I need - using someone elses cleaning stuff at say Swinley or Epping is even less shit even if it means spending £1 for the privilege.
If I had a house with side access and shed, then yah, you get to the point where better cleaning tooling might become worth investing in.

If one were to purchase the Hydroshot thing what sealed vessel would be suitable for water carrying duties? Rather than counting on finding a tap/stream/body of water in situ, or carrying an open bucket of water in the boot?

this sort of things are pretty popular at cross races

Black marks on the side wall of the rear tyre that follow the casing threads- tyre collapsing over obstacles as pressure is too low? Something else non-worrying?
It doesn’t need a hose. It comes with a hose that you stick in the water container of your choice. (I use a bucket).
