Very nice and good choice with the mavic parts. But why no record headset??

unlucky :)
-

But that’s a record 1994 headset?
-
• #88
ok my bad. during c-record the edge of the headset hat a bevel which distinguisned it from lower ones. don't know later records that well. seems like they cheaped out on the little details =)

The one with the bevel were the "lower" ones, C-Record did not have a bevel

Beautiful Somecs!
Do those frame have drainage holes in the bottom braket? I recently bought a lugless Somec Promax that doesn´t and I am wondering if it might be better to drill a hole for that?
Cheers! -

that stem
-
• #94
Thanks! No reason to have drainage holes ;)

And please share a picture of that Promax!

Hi Jeremey,
Thanks a lot for your advice. I just got the frame and to see how it looks I put some spare parts on it.
I’m disassembeled it and collect silver Dura Ace 10x Parts and downtube shifters for the build. Leaning towards 7410 cranks can 7410 seatpost. Maybe 3ttt chrome or Itm eclypse stem?

I laced my very first set of wheels for the Mavic Somec, pretty stoked with the result.
