My bad, didn’t notice it was a 59. That’s way too big for me.
I guess that project is not being made in the end. It’s way too much money and it seems there is practically no frame being made that really suits what I need to make a bike like the pic I posted originally...
Maybe one day...

This has been such an anti-climax.

I tried to sell him a 26' fixed frame that took bmx cranks....

OP: I want this kind of a bike
LFGSS: good idea, here are four interesting ways to get it
OP: all of these are either too expensive or too much effort, I give up -

Marino doesn’t answer my e-mails! Sorry to have disappoint you...

What frame is that? That pfix? It has a way too high B.B., has no disc mounts, and I doubt it can be ridden as a fixed MTB bike... except with a sky high seat...

I am really sorry to have made you lost such precious time reading this thread. Honestly all I wanted was help to make that bike somehow come to life but it seems I am having a very hard time finding what I want...
What stands in that picture is clearly what I need, but with some disc tabs if I ever get bored of it. But people propose some bikes that are not at all what I need, some sloping frames, some without horizontal dropouts, some that are way too high for my size. I am sure a Marino would have been perfect except the tubes would have been way too thin when compared with the frame in the picture. That is all I wanted but apparently it seems it is much more difficult to find than what I thought...

I have sent a last email to Marino so we will see if something happens

There’s a few of 26 inbreds on Fb marketplace
-
• #114
I don’t have FB though. Thanks for your input but the inbred is a sloping frame and it’s not what I want in the end.

There's always the Mielec option... You could get a custom aluminium frame for less than 350€ I guess?
When we did the group buy for the Mash clones, it was 145€, and i heard the rates have gone up since, but i'm sure it won't be that expensive...
I'm sure they'll be able to build it from a given RattleCAD or BikeCAD design. -
• #116
Yes I have thought of Mielec also but I know they are not cheap. Also steel may feel better for off-road riding
-
• #118
Thank you but that is 16” and sloping so it’s too small.

Define cheap: What is your budget exactly for a frame?
I fear your maybe looking for a unicorm: a cheap, sensible configuration that will suit every one of your needs without any compromising.
I doubt you'll get a frame cheaper than £250-200 given your specs... -

How about a Genesis day one disc with flat bars and MTB tires?
-
• #122
That has no horizontal dropouts
-
• #123
That is what I am aiming at: 250-300 max
-
• #124
Where can I find one though?

How about omnium cxc? Bit over 300 euros but sell the parts you dont need. 37mm tires with mudguards so maybe 2" with 650b?
Link of your eBay auction please?
