No offence taken, it’s a fair qustion :)

Still putting in hours on this, dialling in fork, tire pressure, stem length/angle. Getting really capable, and with all the small changes coming up, the sample batch should be really something.

Any idea of the price point yet?

Nothing solid yet, so I can’t promise anything. Need to sort out paint and a few other things first, but I’d like to see it below £1800.

The next batch is in production, including a road disc model. Check out the thread here: https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/322674/#comment14303502

I really like what you've done here BTW, kinda want a burly ass hardtail again.

Things are moving a bit slow, but still moving. Because it's not feasible for us to paint every frame ourselves or having someone else in Norway to do it, we're trying to get the sample batch painted in the same city as the frame factory in China. My paint connection is good, but has no experience with bikes or titanium, so this is a bit of a test. We've encountered some problems on the first frame with the adhesion of the masking decals, resulting in some bleed. Anyway, matte black on Ti looks good, so hope the issues are sorted for the other frames.
Since I'm upgrading my prototype to one from the sample run with the new geo, I also ordered a new fork with the correct A-C. The Pike was a 29+ because when I ordered they said the 29/27.5+ didn't exist anymore. So the fork was 551 when the frame was designed for 530. Anyway, I got the Fox Factory Step Cast 34 and it looks the business! I cut it and put it on yesterday and first impression is really, really good. Can't wait to take it out on the trails.

Haha. Not really sure. It would be weird selling the first Stribe frame, so might just store it. Been thinking of building a rigid bikepacking rig with it, but that's not really something I have a lot of use for right now.

We had a shoot the other day. Haven't had time to edit much, but here's one. Really glad we did this colourway. It's getting delivered tomorrow and will be built in time for spring. Can't wait to see how it turns out.

Not dead yet. One of the sample frames was not painted with the rest – mine. Now I’ve finally gotten around to do it. Although it was tempting to do the green once more (since I love that colour), I decided that would be boring and went another route. No paint booth this time, so all in open air with rattle cans. Etch primer, 1k base and 2k clear. Very happy with the result!
