I've gone back to Dura-Ace XTR 9sp and cycled from Norwich to Edinburgh but I still haven't taken a single decent picture of it.

Yeah, I really like them. On a new set now, with the Addix compound. They do wear a bit quick and I had an annoying puncture right in the middle of a centre knob that kept reopening, but they're very fast, comfortable, and are way better than I'd expected on singletrack. Vast improvement in ALL areas on the slick 48mm GKs.
Might try some Marathon Almotion for winter, I need to retape the wheels anyway

Oh and I swapped the Nitto for a Soma Portola bar which is a great shape but possibly the worst-made handlebar I've ever owned. The bends are so poorly done I couldn't clamp the levers to them before the bolt bottomed out. Had to put two 3mm can shims on each one before they held fast. Cannot reccomend

Getting proper old Eurocamp logo vibes from the paint on the frame. Looks like a great setup!
