Is this the kind of charity shop that one describes to your partner, but is actually located on http://www.wiggle.co.uk?

We've not agreed a price but I reckon £30 for the pair. There is rim wear on the front (he's having to get the rear out of storage) and I'll be looking proper gangster when I taco them next year racing cross.

Bargain of the century!
Who is donating Dura Ace stuff to a charity shop? Jealous ex-lover? Widow(er) whose partner said "oh my new bike only cost me £100 darling"?

I go to that charity shop very often, usually on my way to http://www.spacycles.com and http://www.sjscycles.co.uk

They've got more bits coming next Tuesday, specifically more bike bits. I'll raid and offer here what I don't want.

Charity shop bought mudguards added. Not the most elegant fitting that I've ever done. But it will do. I just need to replace my bolt cutters and chop down the arms.

Amazing what you find in the charity shops these days. Was in my LBS yesterday when a guy walked in with a Koga Miyata with full Campy in vgc that he’d just paid £20 for. Both the shop owner and I promptly offered a large return on his investment, but he politely declined. Well jel

Yeah and I flipped the stem. Yeah I feel kinda dirty but I did it and it is more comfortable.
I'm planning a test spin to Rouen and back in a couple of weeks. I picked up some discounted Altura Touring 36 panniers so I need a rack. I like the Tortec Velocity but I don't know if it'll clear my charity shop bought SKS fenders.

I'm away with the family for a long weekend and I looked up from working and caught a glimpse of my bike. I'm pleased with it. How it rides and how it looks.

Although, maybe wear a helmet for a while. Pride comes before a fall...

Isn’t hollow axle supposed to be both lighter and more robust?
-

I wouldn't know about that. But I do know that QR's don't work with track dropouts. And that reminds me I need to replace the front axle and services the bearings. Yet another job.

Yeah you know something is going to go very wrong!
Where is this magical charity shop you speak of?
