I forgot my Garmin mount and had to bodge, but let's pretend I didn't put it on for clean pics.

First impressions are great, it was meant to be a slightly more modern and better fitting (no more 50cm of exposed seatpost) version of the Kona Unit and it's that and much more. Yesterday was fairly tame gravel and unloaded, the proof will be in loaded off-road rides with the rigid fork (and the bag support that's looking very promising, more on that soon) and a bit more xc-y stuff with the SID. But it's very promising to say the least.
Ride impression from yesterday:

At last, salvation! HALLELUJAH!
Congratulations!
What's the size of the chainring btw?
And which handlebar is that? Any idea on the sweep angle?
Still contemplating mods for the Kona (which now sports only 40cm of seatpost) and the above questions are related..:) -

Nice (beginning of a) rack
Did you try bending stainless?- it where a project of mine is headed. -

The bag and support performed perfectly. I even “bombed” * down a rocky descend so hard I almost crashed to try and make it move but it stayed in place.

30t, it’s too small for the riding I do tbh. Even with a 10 in the back. But it forces me to take it easy on the boring parts, not a bad thing.
Bars are 16 degree SQLabs, love them.

Tanks!
Contemplating my choices of a 32t chainring and 9 degree bars. But let's see when they arrive how they feel. -

32 sounds like the ticket, anything less than 12 degrees you might as well use a broomstick.

Ready for summer. I had almost bought an eTap XPLR group at a sick discount but I cancelled the order in view of a better deal which then fell through and now I'm left with nothing. For the better probably, even at that discount it would have been a not insignificant amount of money and the bike is perfectly adequate like this.
Maybe I should wash the bike some time.
