  • That is a great first ever wrap!

  • New pa...nvm

  • Lol!

Thanks buddy. There is a slight cock up under the left hood, inside the bend, where the tape crosses across the shifter. Mehcakes.

  • Looks great in general. Top work! Hope it rides as nice as it should.

  • It was great around the block. I'm hoping for at least one nice day over Christmas to give it a proper road test.

  • Noice!

The frame really sings without any er... distractions. :)

  • Of course you photographed it with the chain on the little ring, for which you will find a special place in hell. :(

  • Now that you have a Nitto post you should also go for a Nitto stem (and bars).
    Turned out great!

  • Shit dawg. Looking very good. This build has had its ups and downs but the finished article is great. You should be chuffed with yo'self.

And @Scilly.Suffolk makes a good point it should be sur la plaque for photos.

  • I have switched to the big ring and am awaiting good light for pictures.

Valves will be at the bottoms. Cranks will be level. Big ring will be engaged. What have I missed?

  • Big ring, little cog.

    Long stem.

I have a 135mm NOS ITM you can have for £20

  • I have a 120mm Murex on the way, in case I want to switch. TBH, the 100mm felt pretty comfy last night.

To reiterate, I like the looks of the Murex and it's switchability is a good thing.

  • Tyre logos lined up with valve (front wheel is not).

Location, location and location. Top of a mountain pass, perhaps some morning mist/dew. Just so we can understand just how epic the ride was.

I personally think cages on with one water bottle on the down tube. But that's just me.

  • Ask amey or Neil for tips on photoing Bikes.

  • (looks good)

  • I like this bike.
    Please de-sticker the rims.
    Align valves with tyre logo.
And get that stem from Dov.
Whats with the long ferrules on rear brake cable?!

  • Cranks not level.
Cranks must continue the line of the chainstay or be in the 2 oclock "ready" position.

  • Yes to taking stickers off the rims.

No to the ITM stem. Suck my Murex bitches.

Valves will get better aligned the next time the tyres come off. I'm a busy man.

Thanks is for the crank info.

The brake cable ferrules are something I wondered about too. The internal routing ports are not wide enough for the brake cable outers to fit into so I have a stepped ferrule on entry and a normal one (I ran out of stepped) on exit. I felt that having bare outer up against that port lip would be bad. Should I have done something different?

  • Ha, I thought I had aligned the valve and the logo on the front. I aligned it with the wrong sticker. What a knob

  • Align valves with tyre logo.

I told you someone would lose their shit over this.

  • I am chuffed to bits with it.

    Come on spring.

  • Oh. Does anyone want to buy a Crabon Wilier?

  • Good work, Matt.

  • That is really nice. Just need a couple of Elite bottle cages.
Oh and maybe consider some frame protection on the gear cables by the headtube?
