VG-10 is a cutlery grade stainless steel produced in Japan. The name stands for V Gold 10 ("gold" meaning quality), or sometimes V-Kin-10 (V金10号)

You sure you post it? Thought it was prohibited, no? I'll be interested if Dick doesn't take it. Cheers.

Still available?
Bought from Tsubaya in Tokyo when I was over in January but I never use it. Can't abide a beautiful tool that's not getting used. VG-10 steel clad in stainless, so it won't rust and doesn't need wiped down after every cut.
It's this one. I'd take £70, which is a bit less than what it cost me, and you'll save £1000 on an airfare too. Collection on Hackney Road or I can post it recorded.
