Jersey pouches:
Roughly 17x12cm.
I have loads of colours for the zip, so you can say green, red, whatever and I should be able to pull one out.
Main material I have:
Red 1000D Cordura
Grey 1000D Cordura
Orange tarpaulin
Transparent blue paddling pool plastic
Translucent blue paddling pool plastic
Marbled white paddling pool plastic
Purple lilo plastic
Lots of various patterned curtain and cotton materials (mostly floral)
Brown leather jacket suede
Black leather jacketAt the moment I’m doing it super low forum prices, so the pouches are £POA + post, if you’d like leather it’s a bit extra.
I’m gonna stick to that price for the time being until the material runs out. Some material like the blue plastic is very limited, and once the small quantity of cordura runs out it may be a while until I can afford to buy any more.

10 min bike ride becomes hour-long walk. Scrap runs are now renamed scrap crawls.
Gotta get me a trailer...!

Hey thanks.
I just went and made a dump bag to test out sizing before getting started on larger totes... seatbelt straps, unlined truck tarp.

do you think you could make a musette sized bag with a small flat and seatbelt shoulder strap?
edit: from the tarp.

That big dirty white tote is awesome - I'd almost certainly take something like that off your hands :)

Yep, musette is next on the list.
The material is insanely strong but once pressed with an iron it stays pretty well folded.
Gotta decide how best to do the flap, and exactly what size musette. If you have one handy or know dimensions let me know.
@cryptthing thanks! Not sure what to charge for one of these. Wanna see it on a person to be sure it’s suitable? Top is about 50cm wide, bottom is probably 30x20cm, no idea how tall unti I measure it.

cool, well I guess cost is relative to the materials, labour, and niche-ness :) so I'll leave that up to you - would be good to see it on a person though, you're right.

Can’t help with the quality of the photos, but hopefully that gives an idea of size - filled with a few kg’s of stuff too.

Amazing. Definitely unique. :)

It’s killing me, all the gaps. I really must get a zip for every part of the spectrum and make some gamut-zip-thing to go on the wall. Probably cost a fortune to buy up though!
Anyway, for jersey pouches I have these colours.

@n_plus_un
I’ve had a bit of a week so far, so am a little behind on stuff. I have the triglides to use for musettes and grabbed some more seatbelt, but need to sit down and decide on design stuff.
I must try and sort a medium and small version of the tote, and inventory remaining material - nearly completely out of the blue paddling pool.

Pending musette design, might also be interested. Have been looking for a kind of mustte sling I could use on the bike for just some random stuff I need to carry doing small errands around town.
I have been toying with the idea to make one myself with a blue ikea bag, as the material seems supple and sturdy enough. (and they cost next to nothing).

Yea sorry, it’s been a bit of a week last week and will be for most of this week too. Been a bit behind on the promised musette and stuff.
Tried to make a few pouches this morning and all but one came out really wonky, so I’m stepping away from the machine!

Right here we go, had a crack at a regular open musette and a foldover one too. Really scrappy as they are very much proof of concepts.
I had a look for snap fasteners but couldn’t find the ones in the size I’d like, so went with a large square of velcro for the test.
Ideally even if the flap size/shape changes, I’d use white hook&loop so it’s less garish than the black.

The seam edge on the inside folds over so it would be pretty weather resistant.

We have popper snap fasteners...!
Straps at an angle too, to lay better against the body too.

Tool rolls are £POA depending on material if you’re interested :)
