Bernal - Although not his initial aim, do you think he'll end up finishing in the white jersey? Can he TT?
Are we going to see the collusion of a couple of big teams in the Pyrenees in an attempt to stop Sky from controlling the race? -

He can TT pretty well, iirc he held his own in the TOC TT.

We seem to ask that every year, but they never do

Yep

I pity the FDJ domestiques who, having had to drag themselves through the Alps for three days, are now going to have to chase a break all day so that Demare can finish third.
Should have come with a spoiler alert

The whole 'Ask Sagan' segment on Eurosport isn't exactly working is it? Pure awkward.

Shame there isn't a side game folks could play, like fantasy football. Could call it Velogames or something.

I saw a post that he’d posted on his Facebook (during the race) that he’s split with his wife. Bit weird.

Yeah. I don’t know if we need men’s teams having to have women’s teams, the sponsors might not be relevant in both markets. What Women’s cycling needs is more coverage and more women cycling - more coverage brings more money. But I’m a bloke and I do t really know, I’m not really entitled to an opinion but that’s my understanding.

Why are you not entitled to an opinion? The more men asking for coverage of women's cycling, the more voices there are for the media to listen to and, hopefully, the more coverage it gets. Which is deserved, the racing is excellent, arguably more exciting than the mens, and the women are equally professional in their training, nutrition, etc.

But women care less about sports in general and they usually see bikes a thing with a basket up front. I’m not saying women are worse or something but it might be truth if I say that men care more about women cycling the women in general.

Different topic: did Froome had much success as a cyclist before he joined Sky? I mean like in junior races and stuff.
They were having an interesting discussion with Dani Rowe about ways to improve the status of women's cycling, and came up with the theory of mandating World Tour teams to have a women's team.
I wonder how that would go down with the Bahrain/UAE teams.
I really don't like the way that cycling is becoming a way of giving some kind of legitimacy to racist or sexist regimes.
