Not fucking bad. What's the bar tape?

That's really nice but doesn't help me with sourcing a Christmas present for my brother!

Thanks a lot for the offer but he's not a fan of cotton bar tape I don't think. I'm sure someone else would appreciate it more!

No worries. It is shit! ;-)

Could have fooled me, it looks great.

Yeah yeah and it lasts pretty great but there is no shock absorption and grip is so so

How about a natural rubber tape? 🙃
-
• #8367
I have been experimenting with natural latex as the sticky part of my cotton bar tape. Adhesion is great but the application process is not working for me. I want to automate it and I haven't been able to afford spending more time on it.
In these photos it's just double sided tape as adhesive unfortunately

Have you tried the trick with applying electrical tape sticky side up at the start (maybe at the end too?) Might not need a full backing of adhesive then

Not sure you understand my issue.
The issue is applying latex to the bartape not applying bartape to the bars
-

I understand - I was trying to offer at solution to your manufacturing issues, by avoiding having to apply latex all together.
-
• #8371
I see. But the point of latex is that it's biodegradable

Very valid point

I like cotton bar tape :-)

Nice tape!
I somehow doubt you'll have the time to make an automated put rubber on tape machine soon, sounds complicated and you have bottle cages to make I think? -

That tape is very nice....Im looking forward to applying mine once I get round to it.
Long overdue but I am almost done with my winter road bike. Which is basically just down grading some parts
I should bleed the brakes one more time because I am sure I can get them more firm, but they slow the bike and that's useful as it is.
