And I want to try my hand at ornamental / pattern brush strokes. Controlled textured paints. Got loads of ideas. Here's the current mood board

I don't know but I don't think heat will do anything. Plus it is already a slow process, don't think I want it to take more of my time tbh

Ta. Also it isn't red. It will dry up matte purple violet ish. It is also called cardinal purple fyi.

using one base color an adding black/dark brush strokes on top could work out great and the "uneven" textures add as nice effect.
