  • It's quite likely way too much purple for a green bike but we got it for free so can try it out and possibly save it for the next bike

  • I quite like a purple n green combo

  • You can buy these stainless steel coloured torx bolts for cheap, paired with nice alu anodised washers you could get more green n purple vibes going on ;-)

  • Winter fixeh is starting out in SS mode. Not sure when I can find time to build new wheels so setting this up for something to ride with parts I have already. Then when the nicer weather starts happening i migrate to the new all road and fix this up over the summer for full on fixed next winter.

@PhilDAS you will be happy to know that I've been promised that if I break this seat post I can have a new one. Importer is a buddy of mine.

  • Awesome. Been thinking about a disc brake fixeh myself recently

  • Exquisite, gorgeous frame.

  • I am going to do it using this hub. I'll use a bolt on cog on the six bolt side and then have a screw on six bolt adapter coming my way for the threaded side. But I gues you don't really need the rear brake. I just thought it would be nice and most parts are already there

  • Drive train so far. I have a Gebhardt 48t 1/8" coming which I'll customize a bit and then I'll get a 17T from VeloSolo at some point.

  • My strong conviction after yesterdays commute on a fixed with disk brake fork, is that if it's going to be used on slush-frozen-to bark-like ice and studded tires, you'll be really happy for the rear brake.

If there's no ice in sunny Jylland(?) then ignore above!

  • My last two fixies had front and rear brake and it is just nice to be able to stop quickly without too much skiddidng

  • It sounds interesting.
I've been looking at threaded 6-bolt adapters - most on ebay list either 44mm or 48mm thread diameter. Do you know which one is required for regular freewheel threads?

  • Never seen 48mm I think. This is the one you want I reckon. But I must confess I have not measured anything before ordering.

  • Not a lot lost (except for time) if it doesn't fit.
But looking at the pictures it does look about right.

  • Been wanting one of these since forever. A prime condition alpes on the way to me now

  • Are these the narrow flites? I think I have one too. I took it off my bike to preserve it years ago but it’s looking a bit worse for wear already

  • Not narrow but the "wings" are cut off for easier descending on a MTB leaning back over the saddle

  • Ahh I see

  • Bar tape and sealant away from done
