  • Sounds cool, but maybe not for a cross ATMO.

Also I am going for an USA theme here..

  • Seg fo sho

  • hunter fo' sho

  • Gotta have that sweet hunter-style crown.

  • Yo Eddy fork pls!

  • segmented

  • big up hunter crown!

  • I like the flat Sachs crown, its period correct for the frame.

  • A perfect mix? Flat crown and segmented.

  • Not bad, not bad

  • Update time:

Rando is back from painters. Can't wait to build it up.

  • We finished the cargo bike last night. It is off to Aurum Finishing this morning.

It has been quite a fight getting the cable system working, it works a treat.
I am now super stoked for Bespoked this weekend.

  • Awesome.

  • Will this be at Bespoked? If so I'm really looking forward to seeing it.
I get a bit jealous seeing a nice cargo bike, I sold mine about a year ago and I miss it, even though I really don't need it anymore.

  • Yes it will.
I will only be there Saturday but please come and say hi.
We are bringing the cargo bike and the big red off road rando

  • Cool. I'm coming on Saturday so I'll definitely say hi.
    That big rando is RAD!

  • Thanks

  • Amazing! So, Swain's Lane test ride on Tuesday evening? πŸ˜‡

  • Rad. How do you tension those cables?

  • It won't be painted and build up until later in the week. But after Bespoked 4sho

  • Right now cable tensioners from Arthur Beale. But it is one of the things we need sorting out. I looks a little crowded in under the main tube

  • Killing it atmo

  • Bit late but I'm gonna vote for the Sachs crown. I think segmented have their place but I don't think they look very good on that Hunter (imo). The back brake seat stays/bridge are so delicate and neat. The forks look overly chunky in comparison.

Other projects are looking great as always.

  • Yup, what tallsam says.

  • I see your point but I am afraid I have decided to make a segmented fork.
But it will be my own design rather than a Hunter or a Fatchance.
Plan is to use oval and tapered straight fork legs as opposed to round tapered.
I am aiming at capping the fork legs just where the segments touch the fork legs and sculpt a fillet flat crown basically.
I think it will suit the build as the frame is fillet brazed and rather sculptural IRL.
