Are you going to engrave the crown caps like on your wifes bike?

Well, I have been thinking about that but my reasoning for not doing so is that although this bike is for our daughter, she will grow out of it and since we have another on ethe way, it will be his in three years time.
And then after he's grown out of it is going to be passed on I reckon.

The engraved caps for my wife's forks was also a very personal thing. KJ is what her friends in London call her and it was sort of a sentimental acknowledgement of that and a reminder for her of the great things we experienced in our youth together living there. Because back then we obviously already knew we wanted kids and to move back to Denmark etc. In other words special occasion engravings only :)

Think how much time you could save if you just bought some carbon forks

Lush. What’s the paint colour? Powder coat?

^ buildplan is still undecided. But I have some NIB drillium TRP Hylex levers and a Rotor 3D chainset for it and will be using same stem, bars and seat post as I had on it previously. Luckily I managed to get the seat post out today. It's been stuck for a couple of years but some penetration oil and a bit of muscle power got it out today.
