And a (not so great) pic of my rs6 atop a very cloudy Dalsnibba (1476 masl) the other day.

An up to date photo of my Principia.
Does anyone know how to identify the frame? The oval sticker has been removed from the top

White tape works well! You could look at the catalogues I posted above, although your bike might be older than what they cover (my first post in this thread also has the 2001 catalogue). Clues to look for: Is the fork tapered? Is the headtube tapered? (If no on these, then probably 2001 or earlier, if yes on fork, no on headtube, then likely 2001-2002, if yes on both, probably 2002 or later). As for model type, what kind of groupset did it come with? The top models, REX pro, rs6 pro, typically have either dura ace or record. Lower models, simpler groupsets.
Hope that helps.

Principia Rex or RexE, early 2000's. I was trying to do some research about their products but never got access to any proper catalog with dates, prices etc.
I own Principia 700 and now thinking about selling my Dale to fund another Principia, I'm thinking about same model as yours. -

Nice one, thanks.
It is my favourite go to bike, albeit a bit of a mishmash. Mainly Campy record but with Dura ace cranks and chorus RD

Wow, double trouble! Waiting for photos... And we need to arrange a costal Norway principia ride ASAP!

This is my Rex. Built it with spare parts as a simple, fast, 1x road bike that I could ride in shoes with SPD cleats (i.e. walkable-in soles).

Any idea of tyre clearance on wide rims?

I've got 25s on mine, narrow open pro rims.
i can take some photos when i'm back at home

That would be great if you could. I'm riding what's basically a light tourer as a road bike atm and thinking about going more aggressive. This could be perfect.

I've got 23s on there, forgot I changed them recently.
