What does everyone think about this?

Knee jerk reaction, one to keep Adrian's concience clear. But as said, his race his rules. Don't like it don't race. And tehre have been lots of entrants so people must be OK.

I am with @frank9755 that the 3h sleep mandatory could be dangerous, however I have spoken with adrian, and he's said it will be releaxed if people need, so I hope this is conveyed.

I also worry a lot, that someone will die again in one of the races without the 3h rule, then the media will say well it was the riders fault. Then I will be unhappy.

It is putting the blame onto riders.

Kinda had a feeling before the race it would be a good tussle between these two (Bjorn / Chris Herbert). Josh Ibb was down to do this - but didnt show.. what gives?

I'm one of the blue ARs and Mrs TSK is one of the pink ones.

Chris Herbert leads at CP1. Bjorn's about 4k back. Jenny Tough leading the women 12th overall

Gavin Dempster (currently 7/8/9th, hard to tell on the map exactly) is one to watch. He's a local rider - seen him bash out some pretty incredibly fast big rides. IIRC this is his first 'ultra' race so it remains to be seen if he's got the longer term endurance but i'll be following closely.

I think Karen Toast was first woman to CP1 but her (and about 60 other riders) tracker was not working.

Gavin Dempster has climbed to fourth. Lets see what he can do. Germans are taking over again. No-one can seemingly hold them off.

@veganjoseph Nemesis Pawel is going amazingly well. Up to 7th - Riding fixed I believe.

Would love to know where Karen is. Her tracker isnt working / linking to the feed.

seems like he's had a few breaks too so hopefully he's gonna keep on at this pace.

Gav's feeling good apparently. He's Moray based now but still in touch with loads of people at GGCC so we're all taking a keen interest. Pretty sure it is his first ultra-race, he's a monster rider so should do well. He's also got a $10,000 Zwift final in Canada about 3 days after this!

Regarding the 3 hour rule, as I don't race I won't give an opinion on it. I do think it might affect the race for the win, probably won't make much difference to anyone else though.

Looks like Bjorn doesn't want to stop until the mandatory 3 hours rest. Almost 800km in 32 hours.

He's stopped a total of 1hr so far. The mind boggles.

Karen Tostee is the first woman, and is currently sitting 10th overall.
Note: Karen has been handed the tracker of the media car for the time being, so she can be tracked on the map as 'MC' (the green dot).

Karen is smashing it. Hope she can keep the pace up.

So we’ve seen all the top people rode 36hours straight, to get the most from the rule window.
Now can we see the rule is stupid!
