Ha, with all the talk about cjr doing it I only managed to completely forget about him. Sorry, cjr.

Ireland is stunning. I’ve been excited about being in and out of the top twenty, but that was never really my plan.
I’m going to get extra rest tonight and maybe take it a little easier tomorrow (although I don’t feel I’m over reaching)I didn’t sleep at all on the first night despite trying to bivvy at Malin Head, and my saddle is too wide causing knee pain and saddle sore issues.

What's this blue sky stuff? It's meant to be pissing it down.
Keep chugging dude, looking good. Keep an eye on your knees though. Don't be afraid to adjust position to reduce strain on body parts.

Cheers. I moved my cleats in to increase Q factor and saddle up slightly. Seems to help but the inner back of my right knee has weird pain now.
Do you have the link to the no ibuprofen study thing? Is it a total no-no?
-
• #242
I don't use it any more. But you could try the ibuprofen cream, then it's not passing through so many other body systems. Voltaren or Voltarol
Back of knee pain you should be dropping your saddle, or, before doing that doing some good, long hamstring stretches.

TG up to third, Nick.Earthloop in tenth. Great going.

Quite right!
Think I may have met Nick at LMNH...Anisa had quite a slow three hours this morning on Strava, not sure why?
-
• #246
Nick now in eighth.

• #247
Go nick!

Up front, Dan Harty and Matt Seward are now very close together. No idea who's on less sleep, though. They must be grinding their teeth in fear that Steven Abraham is bearing down on them ... no, wait ...

Nick up to 6th. Wow. cjr in 15th (or 13th if you discount the pair ahead of him, who'll presumably be in a different classification).
One of the short route people has finished--Andrew Waddington.
Dan Harty has about 100k left to go and looks as if he's going for the win.

Proper work!
Putting this on my wish list for next year!
I think I only recognise @Nick.Earthloop, Steven Abraham, and Anisa Aubin.
