Regards the dent, that’s on the down tube right? If so I’m sure that there is no tension on that tube (from what I’ve read online) so you should be ok if there is no cracks. I would take to a frame builder for advice though.

Only just seen this, deeply rubbish- which I am very sorry to see.

Me too, this is my favourite ever bike. I'm still going to ride it but its sad its no longer perfect.
Still, I'll see what the council say, I may have to have someone with legal expertise send them a letter or I think they'll probably laugh it off otherwise

Also just came across this thread for the first time - that's a real shame :( any luck with CCTV cameras? You said you were going to look in a different thread. Best to move quickly on those because I think the operator is only required to keep the footage for 30 days or something.
