Its a pinnacle. Its a good bike but I don't love it. I'd gladly sell it, sell the caad7 buy a brompton and have the caad12 as my only road bike. I don't care for fat tyres or guards. But most of everything else I see doesn't excite me like this does

I feel you but you are chucking cash in the wrong direction and bodging things at a bad end of the spectrum i.e. Sram front mech, its one thing where you need the best possible built in (over)engineered stiff solution.

But I could use the front mech without a bodge and run full outer to the rear. Works on CX bikes.

Can you get a replacement cable guide and sugru it in place?

I'm fine on that front, I'd consider the group to be an apology for not describing the frame correctly when I sold it.

I sold you a bike that I didn't describe correctly, that can only really be ridden properly with a groupset that you don't have.

How do I make this right? I provide a groupset that will work.

I should point out - this is a groupset that I have used, it'll be coming off the Time Machine, it's in great condition, but it's not new.

Ultegra front and rear mechs, R-785 shifters, I can't recall the callipers but I have the correct one for the rear so I'll include that.
