So you think the blasters embossed the frame number on the forks?
Yeah, or the guys I dropped the frameset off with, they outsource their blasting.

Comes with the (questionable) added bonus of being able to mis-sell it as a matching frameset...

Those forks are ace. Perfectly filled up.

Cheers, my favourite detail is the smooth fillet brazed transition from the top tube to the seatstays. On some max frames the seatpost lug looks a bit odd but I think they nailed it on this one.

Small update: Found a reasonably priced 111mm Campa Centaur BB and a 19t EAI cog.
Currently eyeing up one of those van nicolas ti seatposts, will see if I can/will get it.

Slow progress: the Fyxo 1/8 chainring ariived from australia. It looks well made but the finish is not as shiny as I expected and I'm not sure whether I like the combination. I also have the original 50t mavic ring in 3/32. I also took the starfish cranks off my Gitan Mexico but I'm not sure whether their condition is adequate for a re-sprayed shiny frame. The same goes for the MKS rx-1 pedals that I wanted to use but maybe they just need some polishing.

Cheers :) parts swap means I no longer have the max forks but you found a matching frameset for your forks so I hope that's ok :)

Of course, I am glad Gaston found something he needed as well. I'm more jealous of those wheels tbh ;)

The Giant would benefit from some beefier wheels but I think they'll be perfect on the cyfac :)
@Sideshowbob cheers mate :) -

Been thinking about stem options and I'm undecided between a Look ergostem or a 110mm Titanium or TIG welded steel stem. What do you guys think?
-

ITM Krystal or Grammo would be sweet but they're both $$$ for normal size lengths.
TIG steel will still look boss and match the frame...
Such a banging frameset!
