  • Nice - I think that general area is very underappreciated compared to the north west, always hearing glowing reports about the riding & scenery.

We're on the edge of Renfrewshire & I work in Glasgow, there's a great cycle path round the corner which used to be an old railway line so it's smooth & flat most of the way, then Paisley rd is flat & pretty wide the rest of the way, especially at 6:30am because I cannot deal with rush hour traffic

  • anyone ever tried 650b on a modern flyer?

  • I've tried it on a equilibrium, if that helps?

  • forks were a bit tight. i've just bought the recently asvertised fugio forks to resolve. otherwise - massive improvement in comfort

  • Realised that the above forks aren't going to fit so put in a cheeky offer on this

Collecting tomorrow. Will probably fit 650b and Marathon Supremes as a first step...

  • Looking forward to setting it up!

  • I recently bought an albeit newer frame for more than that, seems like a bargain to me.

  • Just picked it up - no nasty surprises so I’m very happy!
Just got to wait for this to heal up before I can ride it now 🙄

  • Finally rode this outdoors. It is v.nice, I think it means I can n-2 my PX Pro Carbon from way back & PX Kaffenback which I got last year. No hasty decisions though.

I will switch the bottle cages though I don't think the PX ones suit this.

Also, what'd be the forum fork upgrade of choice, prefer steel and thinner look I think?

  • Nice - I've used this kind of stainless cage on a few bikes & they've generally always worked well, the colour would look pretty stealthy on that - they're out there under loads of different names for about £10

  • I had these on a n-1 candidate so swapped them over.

Those tenner ones look ace and I'll get some for other bike for sure, thanks.

  • Anyone know what the tyre clearance is on the current equilibrium 725 frameset (green one) ?

  • I have just bought a 2020 CdF Ti frameset, anybody with experience of tyre clearance on it? My gravel wheelset has 25 mm inner width rims, would 42 mm Pathfinder Pros fit with any clearance in case of mud? I have read that on such a rim they measure 44 mm.

  • I think I might know the path you're referring through, it is quite nice. The scenery get super nice really quick once you get closer to the coast near Largs. Must be either a sweet spot or a sour spot being just outside GA.

  • Any XL CDFs out there for sale?

Got a mate looking. This is nice, and well specced, but expensive...

I paid like £400 for mine just before the pandemic on ebay. Wasn't well specced and wasn't 853 but even tiagra ones now seem expensive

  • I’m selling a 2019 rim brake 931 volare in size xl if anyone is interested? I’m based in Ireland but happy to ship (I’m close enough to the border that I can ship within UK to avoid customs/duty).

Comes with practically new ck headset and hope pressfit41 bb for shimano cranks.

Frameset has covered about 7000km since purchased in June 2020, some minor signs of use, but never crashed or dropped.

  • Is this 60cm or 58cm?

  • Stunning frame, if I needed a road bike I’d be all over this!

  • Thanks yeah it’s a super frame, I’m just not riding much this year with the arrival of baby #2 and it pains me to see it gathering dust (and occupying space in the shed).

  • How much are you looking for?
